Can I send an attachment, e.g. a PDF?

In principal, it is possible to send file attachments with Newsletter2Go. However, we only offer this service upon request, for the following 2 reasons:

1. Attachments are counted as a criterion for spam by many spam filters.
2. The emails become very big and they therefore take longer to load when opened.
3. It is not possible to measure how often customers open the attachment.

For these reasons, we advise that you do not send attachments with your newsletters. Instead of attaching a file, we advise that you simply put a link to it in your newsletter. Furthermore, we will gladly host your attachments for you.

The advantages of this: the email will load quicker and you will be able to see from the newsletter statistics how many times the attachments was opened.

However, if you are sure that you need to send an attachment, please contact our support team straight away. The following file formats can be attached: .pdf, .xls, .xlsx, .doc, .docx, .gif, .png, .jpg and .jpeg, .ics and .vcf; and we will gladly advise you as to how this function works and suggest alternative options for your needs.
