Please follow the instructions below to create your own tracking domain on your web server. In all the steps below, we assume that your domain reads example.org. Please replace this with your actual domain.

1. Choose a sub domain that is available. The best thing to do is to choose a name that is also easily recognisable to the recipient, e.g. newsletter.example.org.
2. Create a DNS entry for the sub domain from step 1. If you are unsure of how to enter a DNS entry, contact your server administrator or host. Create a new A-record in your DNS management. Point the domain newsletter.example.org to the IP 78.46.25.86.
3. Log in to Newsletter2Go and check the box for ‘Custom tracking domain’ under ‘Settings’ -> ‘Email’. Then enter the subdomain your created in step 1 and confirm this by clicking on ‘Save changes’. 
4. To use your custom tracking domain, check the box with the same name in step 5 of the newsletter process, ‘Send’.
