How do you set up the plug-in to an OXID web shop?

Hint: In Order to use the OXID Plug-in, you will need your own Newsletter2Go Account. If you don’t already have one, you can create your own account for free here.

Setting up a shop connection:

  1. Download the OXID Newsletter2Go Plug-inzip
  2. Move the folder nl2go to the folder modules in your root directory.
  3. Log in to the admin area of your OXID-shop.
  4. Go to ‘Extensions’ and then ‘Module’.
  5. Select Newsletter2Go from the list.
  6. Then click on ‘Activate’ in the bottom right
  7. After that, choose the ‘Settings’ tab.
  8. If you click on ‘Plug-ins – login details’, you will see two fields that are labelled as Username and Password. Copy these login details and then go back to de.
  9. Log into your Newsletter2Go account (or create an account).
  10. Go to settings and then click on the ‘Plug-ins’ tab.
  11. Select ‘OXID’ as your shop software under ‘Plug-ins to web shops’ and paste in the login details that you have copied. If you want newsletter recipients from your shop to be synchronised with Newsletter2Go, choose ‘daily synchronisation at 4am’.
  12. Finally, click on ‘Save’. Your shop is now connected with Newsletter2Go.
